The beginning
A second chapter, built across two places.
A couple from Florida came to KADO with an unusual idea.
Not to leave their American life. Not to retire. And not simply to buy something to visit.
They wanted to create a life that could exist naturally between two places.
Not a holiday home.
A second home, in the truest sense.
They now spend approximately eight months of the year in Mallorca, with Florida remaining part of their life.
Why Deià

They weren’t looking for Mallorca in general. They were looking for the place in Mallorca that felt like theirs.

How they wanted to live came first.
KADO’s search focused on a home for most of the year, not occasional visits: walking distance to village life, outdoor living, terraces, light and views, privacy without isolation and traditional Mallorcan character.
They ultimately found and purchased their home in Deià.
Making the move possible
Owning the right home was only one part.
